PHL OFFERS FREE WI-FI ACCESS
Weekend visitors to Philadelphia International Airport toting Wi-Fi-equipped laptops can now access the Internet free. The deal is even better for college students. They can access the same free service seven days a week by presenting their college ID cards at any airport information counter. Staffers will give them a coupon with an authorization code to boot up. Previously, the airport charged travelers $7.95 for a 24-hour connection to $39.95 for unlimited, monthly access. "Free, wireless Internet access will make time spent at PHL more enjoyable and productive," said Aviation Director Charles Isdell.
