FAA TO PRESENT AIRPORT NOISE ANALYSIS
The Associated Press
TALLEYVILLE, Del. - The Federal Aviation Administration is scheduled Tuesday evening to present its analysis of the environmental impact from an expansion at the Philadelphia International Airport.
The presentation is one part of a hearing set for 6 p.m. at Hanby Middle School, north of Wilmington.
The meeting is in advance of a formal public hearing on the study planned for October.
Some residents of Delaware's northernmost communities are concerned that changes in air traffic patterns around the airport will create more noise for residents. The group PHL Citizens Aviation Watch is challenging the airspace redesign in court.
