BRIEF POWER OUTAGE AT PHILLY INTERNATIONAL
PHILADELPHIA (AP) -- Police confirmed a brief power outage at Philadelphia International Airport. Airport police say a circuit breaker apparently tripped about 5 a.m. Wednesday. The outage lasted slightly more than five minutes. Power was transferred to another circuit and quickly restored.

Police say some early morning travelers were briefly held back at security check points while the problem was corrected, but all was quickly back to normal. The local power company, Peco Energy, reported no interruptions to major power lines serving the airport.
