US AIRWAYS WORKER DIES IN PHILA. AIRPORT ACCIDENT
An airline worker at Philadelphia International Airport died yesterday after an accident in which a ground service equipment vehicle overturned.
James T. Olson, vice president of corporate communications for US Airways, said the accident occurred about 3 p.m. near Gate B13.
The employee was treated at the scene and was then taken to a hospital, where he died, Olson said. Olson would not identify the hospital. For privacy reasons, Olson declined to release the employee's name.
"This is a really sad day for our company," Olson said. "We have just lost one of our employees." He said no aircraft was involved in the accident.
