Terrorism Drill Planned For PHL|
PHILADELPHIA -- Don't panic if you're in the vicinity of Philadelphia International Airport Wednesday evening. Twenty federal, state and local agencies will be conducting a terrorism drill. It will be only a drill. U.S. Attorney Patrick Meehan said it will test inter-agency communications, hazardous materials response, and the ability for government agencies to transfer power up and down the chain of command. Meehan said the airport and trains will be involved, and it's going to take place in more than one community. FBI Acting Special Agent in Charge Brian Lynch said while the airport event will happen about 10 p.m. Wednesday, a related training event will take place sometime after 4 a.m. Thursday at a location in Bensalem, Bucks County.
