POTBELLIED PIG PLIES PHILLY AIRPORT
PHILADELPHIA - Animal rescue workers are hoping to find a home for a potbellied pig that was found roaming wild near Philadelphia International Airport. The pig, now nicknamed Runway, had apparently been on his own for about a year, hobnobbing with a bunch of stray cats also living near the airport. It took six animal rescuers to bring him recently to the Last Chance Ranch in Richboro, Bucks County.

Lori McCutcheon, a worker there, says she thinks Runway may have been someone's pet and just got too big to care for. He tips the scales at about 150 pounds and needs to lose some weight. McCutcheon says Runway also likes to run away, so workers are trying to reduce his wanderlust by bribing him with dog biscuits.
