US Airways reduces fares from Phila.
US Airways announced more fare reductions for its East Coast markets Monday. Fares to 18 destinations connected to its eastern hubs in Philadelphia; Pittsburgh; Charlotte, N.C.; and New York's LaGuardia International Airport have been reduced up to 55 percent. Similar reductions occurred in nearly 20 markets earlier this month.

The new fares include $198 flights from Philadelphia to Charleston, Columbia and Greenville, S.C.; Columbus and Dayton, Ohio; Knoxville, Tenn.; Louisville, Ky.; and Norfolk, Va. The price requires round-trip air travel and 21-day advance purchase and a one-night minimum stay. US Airways (NYSE: LCC) of Tempe, Ariz., is the dominant carrier at Philadelphia International Airport.
